• Do I want a large open space with few rooms?  Or am I happiest when I can enjoy my family, but still be able to leave the family room to retreat to a quiet, cozy room?  The trend is large open spaces or great rooms that offer great "flow."  However, flow may leave you flooded by too much noise, too much activity, and too much family, too much of the time.  We can help you figure out what size and type of space would make you happier and more productive and relaxed in your existing home, or which floorplans/homes you should be looking for in your new home.
• Could you imagine a Woody Allen type of person living on the top floor of a modern, mostly glass condo---lots of exposure to lots of wild blue yonder?  Now imagine that person trying to relax in that space.  It's not going to happen.  Certain spaces make certain people uncomfortable.  Learn about the types of home choices and which ones would make you happiest.
• Community or lack thereof is another imortant issue to be evaluated.  You may think it's beautiful to see acres of land beyond your front door, until you live there day in and day out without seeing another face.  Wouldn't you like to know that before you take any steps to buy a 40 acre ranch?
• Privacy is not an issue until you don't have it...if you require it.  Have you thought about having to hang out wash to sit privately on your lounge chair?  Are walled in subdivisions for you?  Maybe there's an alternative to walls that would still give you privacy.  We can sort through all of the options with you.
• You love a large open yard?  A yard that invites 24/7 interaction?  If so, we can find that for you.  We can also suggest communities/lots that would give you some flexibility with your 24/7 attention.
• Are you a very organized soul believing that everything has or should have it's space...and be in it?  If so the floorplan of your home must provide for something that most of our Phoenix Metro area homes don't have...lots of closet space.  However, there are ways to accomodate your stuff and find closet space where you thought there was none.  Or, we could just make sure you find that home with lots of closets!
