I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, Scotty Hendry, and the company I’ve been with for several years, The Mortgage Outlet.

            The Mortgage Outlet is a national “mortgage banker” with offices located throughout the west, Midwest, and southwest.  I am right here in Scottsdale, Arizona.  Since our beginning in San Jose, California, 15 years ago, TMO has operated as a mortgage banker.  Our sole business is real estate mortgage loans.  The advantages of working with a mortgage “banker” and not a mortgage “broker” are simple.  Because TMO is a mortgage banker, we process & underwrite your application “in-house”, and we fund your loan with our own money.  The bottom line for the borrower is a wholesale interest rate from a lending institution, completed from start to finish, regularly inside of 7 to 10 business days.  Completing your loan in this time period, at a wholesale interest rate, with no additional “broker fees” and no “back end” or “yield spread premiums” is simply a product that a mortgage broker is not able to deliver.

            You may feel that it is necessary to confirm the type of professional that I am.  I will not be offended.  Unlike many loan officers you may encounter at other mortgage companies, I am a 6-year employee of The Mortgage Outlet.  I started my career here as an assistant, earned my way to loan officer, senior loan officer, and now sales manager.  Upon your request, I can prove to you that I have been the #1 volume producer for the past 2 consecutive years.  In this business, you can’t achieve those types of volumes without referrals from satisfied customers.  I have the satisfied customers, and I earn their referrals.  I can also at any time, at your request, provide you with a binder full of letters from satisfied customers.
